Bertazzoni dishwashers are built for reliability, but error codes can appear when sensors detect abnormal operation. Knowing what these codes mean can save time and prevent damage.
E01 indicates a water inlet issue, meaning the dishwasher isn’t filling properly. This could stem from low water pressure, a kinked inlet hose, or a blocked filter. Check that the valve is open and the hose is free from bends.
E02 signals a drainage error, where the unit can’t remove water efficiently. Inspect the drain hose for blockages and clean the pump filter at the base of the tub.
E03 means a heating failure, often related to the heating element or temperature sensor. If water remains cold, the element may have failed.
E04 points to an overflow or leak condition. This activates a safety system to prevent flooding. Disconnect power and check the base tray for water accumulation.
Less common codes such as E06 or E07 involve communication or pump errors. Resetting the unit by unplugging it for five minutes often clears temporary faults.
To avoid repeated errors, regularly clean filters, inspect hoses, and use dishwasher-safe detergents. Preventive cleaning helps maintain consistent water flow and sensor performance. When persistent codes appear, a qualified technician can diagnose the electrical or mechanical fault quickly and safely.
